Privacy Policy
This policy explains how bestrated.live (“we”, “us”) handles personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who is responsible
CompareFactory LLC, Dubai. You can also contact us via our contact form.
2. What we process
We do not ask you to register and we do not run customer accounts. When you visit our site, our servers and our content delivery network process technical data that your browser sends automatically (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). We use this data only to deliver the site securely and to fend off attacks (legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR). Server logs are deleted after a short period.
If you write to us using the contact form, we use your name, email address and message only to answer your enquiry (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) UK GDPR) and delete them when they are no longer needed.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to work (for example to remember your cookie choice). With your consent we also use cookies for analytics and for measuring the success of our advertising (see sections 4 and 5). You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting the cookies in your browser; the cookie banner will then appear again.
4. Google Analytics
With your consent we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google Analytics uses cookies to analyse how the site is used. IP addresses are shortened before storage. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google relies on the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. More information: https://policies.google.com/privacy
5. Advertising conversion tracking (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising)
We advertise on Google and Bing. If you reach our site through one of our ads, a click identifier is stored with your consent. If you later buy something on Amazon through our site, we report the value of the commission – without your name or any other personal details – back to Google Ads or Microsoft Advertising so that we can measure the success of our campaigns. Providers: Google Ireland Limited (address above) and Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland.
6. Amazon Associates Programme
We take part in the Amazon EU Associates Programme. Our links to amazon.co.uk contain a partner identifier so that Amazon can attribute a purchase to us. Amazon may use cookies for this purpose. We do not receive any personal data about you from Amazon – only aggregated sales figures. Amazon's privacy notice: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201909010
7. Cloudflare
Our site is delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) to protect it against attacks and to speed it up. Cloudflare processes technical connection data for this purpose (legitimate interests). More information: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 5AF, https://ico.org.uk.
9. Changes
We may update this policy when the law or our services change. The current version is always available on this page.
